  Inspired from a line in Native American poetry, ‘Dust In The Wind’ is the first acoustic song performed by Kansas. It was a highly unusual song for the band to create, with a sound unlike that of which they were commonly associated, however it did bear the same philosophical reflection. It is the song that was the band’s peak selling track, yet it invoked reflection on the finality of death.
