Steely Dan has been together, in one form or another, for the better part of 45 years. They stand as an example of that which cannot be imitated, a sound to which other musicians may aspire but never reach. This week’s song, “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number,” was released in 1974 as the opening track of their third album “Pretzel Logic.” It is the highest charting single of the group’s career. | |
